Captain Naz 2nd Trip for Year 2017. It's Hong Kong Again!

Assalamualaikum =) to all my readers! Since come back early from office, so Capt want to share my second trip for year 2017. Guess what, it's Hong Kong again. First time went to Hong Kong was 2 years ago. 30 July 2015. Why Hong Kong again? Because my travel buddies want to go there. So, I just follow. More or less become their tour guide there. Lolzzz! To be honest, this trip was the expensive among the other trip that I went. Obviously not backpacking this time. Wanna know why, need to read from beginning to the end. Without further or due, Capt want to begin the story....

For the first time ever, I bought early morning airline ticket with hot seat. Testing power I think. And for the first juga, Capt wait at the airport since 2.00 am. Our departure time 6.20 am. Takut tertinggal flight punya pasal, Capt tak tidur malam tu. While waiting for my other 3 travel buddies come, I just sit,wait and face-booking at Old Town White Coffee with hot milk tea and kaya butter toast. Sit, wait and face-booking also will make the time fly faster. Suddenly, Amirah called and say she arrived already at the airport. But, she went straight to the weighing machine to weigh her luggage. Capt luggage is 13.5 kg so got balance 6.5 kg for her luggage. That morning, not so many people so our luggage check-in line is not that long compared to the news viral 3 days before our flight. Very long queue at the counter. Thank God not happening to us. Max and his girlfriend come a bit late than us but still before the boarding time. After finish check-in than we went straight to the departure hall.

For this trip, Capt change RM 859.50 which equal to HKD 1,500. That time conversion was HKD 100 = RM 57.30. Quite expensive. Last 2 years, I got HKD 100 = RM 49.50. #redha

Our flight took 4 hours and 20 minutes of journey. The hot seat really help to relieve legs cramp. Now, I think it worth it. Along the journey, I was not sleeping at all. Don't know why can't sleep. Might be because of high level of excited. So, in the plane, just listen to MP3, silent karaoke and listen to the cabin crew gossiping to each other. We seat in the first row so obviously I can hear them gossiping. 

We landed at Hong Kong International Airport at 10.20 am. Once fill-in the tourist arrival card, we head straight to the immigration counter. This time I passed the immigration easy. Thank God they no need to look at me up and down just to see I'm the same person as in the passport photo. We stop at McD for a while because Max want to have breakfast. He's not feeling so good that morning after having light breakfast at one of the restaurant near our departure waiting room. While waiting for Max finish his breakfast meal, Capt look for pocket WIFI since I surely missed one step in buying the Digi roaming. The pocket WIFI cost me HKD 60 for 1 day. Can be used up to 5 users. Rent for 3 days then 4th day is free so total is HKD 180. Strongly recommend Wifi BB Pocket Wifi Rental. Credit card being swipe for this rental. Thank you credit card! You saved my HKD since I didn't bring enough cash.

Then, we look out for Octopus card. To walk around Hong Kong using their MTR, Octopus card is important. You will need to pay HKD 150 for it. HKD 50 is deposit while in the card itself got HKD 100. Trust me, it's not enough. Sure need to topup later. But, don't worry because beside Octopus card counter, got their add value machine that accept top up amount of HKD 50 & 100 only. We did add value HKD 100 after bought the card. Since, it's 12.30 pm, we decide to head straight to our hotel located at Yau Ma Tei. The fastest way to go there is by Airport Express and stop at Tsing Yi then change to Tung Chung (orange) line stop at Lai King and take Tsuen Wen (red colour) line to reach Yau Ma Tei. It took about an hour journey from airport to Yau Ma Tei. Hong Kong temperature that day was 15'C. Air-cond cold which Capt can feel it till' bone. Lucky bought sweater.

We arrived at 1.30 pm which a bit early from the hotel check-in time. Lucky, our room are available and the hotel let us check-in early. Check-in process was smooth and we got our room keys in just 5 minutes. Me and Amirah have the twin sharing and our room is at 16th floor while Max at 9th floor. See our room below,

Small yet comfortable toilet

The room size is 12 square feet which small but the hotel room at Hong Kong is small. To Capt, OK la. For sleep, bath and change cloth. All basic amenities are provided in the room. Just perfect for 2 of us. Lucky me and Amirah are small in size. We decided to rest until 4.00 pm then only start our first destination.

# FIRST PLACE: Kowloon Park

Sharp 4.00 pm then we off to our first place to visit, Kowloon Park. From our hotel to Kowloon Park, it took about 20 minutes by walk. Amirah really love to walk so we walk to the park. Since, I have pocket Wifi, so Google Map assisting us in a very good way. Got a building call "The Mira". Like name after Amirah. Lolzzz =)

Kowloon Park was so different from the first time I came before. They did some renovation and add new things in the park. Managed to shoot video at the park also.

At the park also got museum that tourist can enter free and easy. All I can say, it look much better by the time I came and I love it. After a cool and breeze walk, we head to The Peak Tram.

# SECOND PLACE: The Peak Tram

From Kowloon Park to The Peak Tram, we took MTR from Tsim Sha Tsui and stop at Central station using Tsuen Wen line.

Since this was Capt second time at Hong Kong, it's not a problem to find way to The Peak. From Central station, just find exit J (that show The Peak Tramius) and walk out from the exit, you will find a park and high rise building. Walk straight from the building then you will see The Peak Tram on your left.

The Peak Tram we bought in advance using Klook.com (www.klook.com) It cost us RM 47 per pax for roundtrip tram ticket and entrance to skypass. Highly recommended to buy ticket from Klook.com. Much more cheaper that through the counter. At the first place, just both us went to The Peak but by the time we redeem our ticket at the counter, Max called and say he want to go to The Peak so we wait for him to come from Yau Ma Tei. We waited him about 40 minutes. He's feeling a better after enough rest. So, once he arrived then we took the tram to go to The Peak. Already night time.

Last 2 years, Capt went to The Peak during day time which was so hot. Then, the second, Capt went to The Peak during night time. Hope to see some nice night view. Once we reached The Peak, we went to Hard Rock Cafe shop first. Amirah want to buy fridge magnet and Capt want to buy tshirt that originally from it's concept store. Sadly, the store didn't have the shirt design that I want for. So, Capt just bought fridge magnet. Cost me HKD 75. If using credit card at Hong Kong, when you make purchase, the cashier will ask whether to charge as per HKD or MYR. Amirah advise, choose local currency because can get cheaper rate.

Then, we walk to The Skypass. But, my hope to get a nice night view was destroyed because of the cloud. Can't see a thing. So, without waste any time, we decide to go back down. What to do, the weather don't allow us to get a good view.

We board the tram to go down back. Doesn't took us long time to get the tram. The high rise building was so beautiful that night so we took advantage of posing with it.

# DINNER TIME: Mr Kebab Pizza and Pasta

For our dinner that, we went separate ways since we have different menu that night. Obviously Capt and Amirah need to find halal food so both of us decide to go to Tsim Sha Tsui. Over there, a lot of halal food can be found. First, we went to Chungking Mansion but there are a lot of annoying people around so we found a peaceful place to eat Mr Kebab Pizza and Pasta. It is peaceful.

The restaurant is located at unit No. 6, 2nd Floor, Haiphong Mansion, Haiphong Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. The restaurant can't be find easily since it is located inside a building. Don't worry because their staff will wait one road near MTR exit A1 & Kowloon Mosque. He will show and bring you to the restaurant.

Our dinner menu that night is butter rice and chicken wings. I found chicken at Hong Kong! Lolzzz =) . Their food portion is big so we just order one plate of rice then we share. Sharing is caring. For drinks, we choose hot milk tea and hot chocolate. Obviously the hot milk tea is Captain's drink. Their hot drink need to add sugar in it by yourself. Provided on the table. Drink hot milk that night like lepaking at mamak. Feel like in Malaysia that time. Our dinner that cost us only HKD 176.

We finish our dinner at 10.30 pm then we head back to hotel via MTR since Capt had enough of walking that day. Back to hotel, sleep early for 2nd day activity which really require a lot of energy.

Last Day at Lombok. The Girls back to KL, The Guys to Bali.

Assalamualaikum, final post for Lombok...rasa lega dapat tulis bahagian akhir untuk trip Lombok. When there is a beginning, there is an end...

Hari akhir di Lombok dimulakan dengan bangun awal untuk menikmati sarapan di yang disediakan oleh pihak hotel. Di Hotel Griya Asri, sarapan yang disediakan is buffet breakfast. We all bangun awal untuk siap-siap check-out and breakfast sebab flight the guys ke Bali is 11 pagi. Yup, the girls return to Kuala Lumpur and the guys go to Bali. The girls tak lepas cuti ke Bali sebab tue tak ikut pergi Bali. Sedih jugak la sebab plan memang nak ke Bali tapi apakan daya, tak lulus untuk cuti panjang. 

We all janji dengan Mas Zaini that morning pukul 9.00 pagi sebab dari our hotel to airport pun ambil masa 40 minit. The guys pun belum check-in lagi, tue yang masing-masing kanchong (cemas) semacam. Nasib baik la trafik pada pagi Ahad tue bersahabat dengan kami. Sampai airport ngam ngam pukul 9.40 pagi. So, dengan pantas la the guys masuk untuk check-in di kaunter. Well, the girls flight pukul 4.05 pm. So, Capt and Nani decide untuk habiskan masa berbelanja di tempat-tempat yang sepatutnya. 

Nazmi ada bagi tahu satu tempat untuk beli tshirt and keychain yang namanya Cakeranegara. Bukan Cakerawala ye. So, both of us pun inform la Mas Zaini destinasi tu. Dari airport ke Cakeranegara yang terletak di Mataram tue dalam 20 minit. Dengan eksited nya nak berbelanja di Cakeranegara. Ingat macam mall or kedai-kedai tepi jalan. Sekali amik macam Pekan Rabu, Kedah. Kalau tshirt or kain pasang memang nie tempat yang sesuai. Key chain or fridge magnet memang tak banyak pilihan. Tshirt di Cakeranegara nie Capt dapat harga 7 helai = IDR 100,000. Kalau saiz XL, up sikit harganya. Sehelai IDR 100,000. Pergi kedai ke-2 baru dapat harga 7 helai = IDR 100,000. Kena pandai nego and psiko ye. Selain t-shirt, Cakeranegara nie ada gerai buah and kasut. Sempat la beli buah salak 3 kilo. Harga 1 kilo buah salak ialah IDR 15,000. My mother memang a big fan of buah salak. Tidak mahu kejadian di Jogja berulang kembali, jadi kali ni Capt beli luggage. Memandangankan dapat cari tshirt je, makanya we all bagi tahu Mas Zaini untuk pergi ke gedung Sasaku.

Gedung Sasaku nie sama macam Lombok Exotic. Another kedai yang jual tshirt kualiti baik. Sebab on the way nak ke airport pun kedai Sasaku tue. Singgah la sekejap memandangkan banyak masa lagi. Dekat Sasaku nie je Capt mencari key chain and fridge magnet. Sekali tengok dekat bahagian beg tangan, jumpa la beg tangan yang my mother inginkan sangat tu. Maka belilah sekali. Dapat 2 beg tangan my mum u'ollz. Koleksi habis. Pilih punya pilih dekat 40 minit dalam Sasaku tue je. Biasalah kalau perempuan berbelanja kan. Kalau boleh semua dalam kedai nak di borong nya. Capt cuma beli beg tangan, fridge magnet and key chain je. Situ je habis IDR 291,000. Tshirt dah beli banyak di Lombok Exotic and Cakeranegara. Capt ingat Capt sorang je yang berbelanja lama. Tengok-tengok Cik Nani pun tak habis pusing satu kedai. Kita pun duduk la dekat kerusi yang disediakan sambil tunggu Cik Nani pusing satu kedai.

Sesudah berbelanja di Sasaku, then it's time to go back. Flight pukul 4.05 pm jadi we all kene ada di airport pukul 1.05 pm. Nak check-in luggage lagi jadi pukul 12.30 pm dah gerak ke airport. Sampai je airport pukul 1.15 pm. Then we all say Goodbye to Mas Zaini and bayar duit half day transportation that day. Each pax RM 25.00. Bayar pakai duit RM je. Masuk je airport, terus cari tempat makan. Lunch time la katekan and memandang kami tak beli in-flight meal jadi isi perut dulu la. We all decide untuk makan di Solaria Cafe. Pekena Teh Tarik Ais, Smoked Chicken Fried Rice and Nasi Ayam Crispy. Total IDR 103,000.

Kenyang makan. Alhamdulillah. Dah makan, time to check-in. Sebelum check-in tue susun balik la luggage. Buah salak and t-shirt kasi arrange masuk luggage. Untuk trip ke Lombok nie memang pergi balik Capt beli luggage. First time nih bawak beg troley pergi travel. This time shopping traveler. Not backpacker. Nak lepas first scanner nie memang bercinta jugak sebab time we all nak check-in, berpusu-pusu manusia. Jadi stuck jugak la. Sabarkan jelah. Total luggage weight Capt that time is 21 kg. Capt beli 25 kg. So, 4 kg tue kira halal jelah.

Dah selesai check-in luggage, then we all pun masuk la ke departure hall. On the way ke departure hall tue sempat lagi stop kat kedai cenderahati. Beli lagi fridge magnet. Habis IDR 30,000. Then, nampak Starbucks, masuk lagi. Nak WIFI upload instagram. Lolzzzz =)

Pukul 3.00 pm, baru we all masuk departure hall. Alhamdulillah, flight on time that day. Tak delay. So, we board our plane at 3.30 pm. Tepat 4.05 pm, it's time to fly. Time balik je memang Capt tidur. Al-maklum lah, tidur lambat malam sebelumnya. We all safely landed at KLIA2 at 7.03 pm.

Lombok Part 3: Villa Hantu, Air Terjun Sendang Gile & Air Terjun Tiu Kelup

Assalamualaikum readers! 

Lama betul Capt nak tamatkan post pasal Lombok nie. Nie pun curi masa untuk habiskan entry untuk hari ke-3 di Lombok. So, without further due, let us begin....

Lombok Part 3: Villa Hantu | Air Terjun Sendeng Gile | Air Terjun Tiu Kelup

For day 3, our itinerary is hiking to waterfall. Dengar citer blogger lain, waterfall tue cantik bangat! Jadi we all pun nak tengok la dengan mata kepala sendiri. But, before proceed to the waterfall, our first pitstop was Villa Hantu. Dari hotel we all ke Villa Hantu nie ambil masa dalam 15 minutes la. So, after we all check-out, terus ke Villa Hantu.

No entrance fee needed to enter Villa Hantu. Cuma perlu bayar parking je but itu let you supir handle okay. Continue after Villa Hantu, we all teruskan perjalanan ke Air Terjun. From there took about 1 hour drive la. Kematu lagi punggung Capt dalam kereta. Along the way to Air Terjun, we all sempat pitstop at another place yang cantik untuk selfie.

Sesudah berselfie di "Malaka" nie we all teruskan lah perjalanan ke Air Terjun. Memandangkan perjalanan lama so we all pun terasa lapar la. Ikutkan plan asal, makan selepas keluar dari air terjun. So, change of plan. Makan dulu sebelum hiking. Nasib la tempat makan senang cari. We all have our lunch at Warung Lea. Ada nasi campur and goreng-goreng. Nak senang, we all order sumer benda sama. Nasi goreng ayam. Cepat sikit siap.

Masing-masing dapat je nasi goreng, tak pandang kiri kanan. Di mulakan dengan bismillah, di sudahi dengan alhamdulillah. Our lunch cost us IDR 25,000 a.k.a RM 9.00. Sesudah perut di isi baru lah ada tenaga nak ber-hiking. Entrance fee untuk masuk kawasan air terjun nie we all kowtim dengan Mas Zaini. Each pax IDR 50,000. Harga local katenyer. Kalau we all direct bayar sendiri kat kaunter, mau kena IDR 100,000. Double kaw harga. So, let your supir kowtim okay.

Seorang tracker akan lead you all masuk ke kawasan air terjun. Wajib ye ade tracker. No tracker, you all lost. Cuaca agak bersahabat dengan kami hari itu. Redup je. Perjalanan dari entrance ke  air terjun pertama, Sendang Gile mengambil masa 15 minutes. Satu benda yang Capt nak advise. Kalau hiking masuk air terjun tue pakai pakaian yang dry fit and pakai sandal or kasut getah. Sebab kena redah sungai bagai. Sure basah. Pakai selipar tak di galakkan sebab nanti selipar senang terbang sana sini di bawa arus sungai yang deras tue. Sempat la Nazmi rekod apa yang patut along the way to pitstop pertama.

Sekitar kawasan Air Terjun Sendang Gile ada jual pisang goreng, keledek goreng and tempe goreng. Maggi pun ada. Bawak duit je datang sini. Rupiah ye. Dari Air Terjun Sendang Gile, we all teruskan perjalanan ke Air Terjun Tiu Kelup. Took about 20 minutes hike. Nak view cantik, gagahkan la hiking. Naik turun bukit, tangga, redah sungai bagai. Sempat jugak la buat video.

Gigih berjalan 20 minutes nak sampai ke Air Terjun Tiu Kelup tue. Akhirnya, setelah tempuh perjalanan yang berliku-liku, sampai la we all ke destinasi yang hendak dituju. Only the pictures can tell you how beautiful the waterfall is.

Lama jugak la we all dekat waterfall nie. Sempat jugak menikmati Terang Bulan yang tak sempat habiskan semalam. Sedap k! Dah kenyang makan, baru la ade tenaga nak hike ke pintu masuk balik. Time nak balik nie kan we all decide untuk ikut jalan pintas. Lalu terowong. But, before that, ade satu lorong bawah jambatan nie yang pelancong boleh lalu. Bawah jambatan k. You all tak percaya, you all see this video.

Cemane, menarik kan =)...The guys je yang mengelongsor. The girls wait and see. Silap haribulan dengan aku dibawa arus tue. Memang laju la air tue. The we all berjalan masuk terowong for jalan pintas. Jangan gatal-gatal nak lalu terowong tak pakai selipar/sandal ye. Batu-batu kat dalam terowong tu boleh menyebabkan you all menjerit kesakitan. So, to be safe, pakai sandal ya. After 20 minutes, then we all pun reach pintu gerbang. Before we all go to Mataram, kena la salin baju dulu. Takkan nak dinner basah-basah. Dah siap salin baju bagai, then we all teruskan perjalanan ke Mataram. 

Al-maklumlah kalau dah hiking bagai, tenaga dah banyak pakai, makanya perut pun terasa la lapar. We all craving for bakso that evening, so without further due, Mas Zaini bawa kami ke tempat makan bakso. Capt tak makan bakso, so that evening, Capt makan bihun sup. Sodap wey! Malatop!

Bakso jumbo tue harga dia IDR 30,000 while bihun sup Capt is IDR 25,000. Menyelerakan bangat! Dah kenyang tue makanya kami teruskan perjalanan ke Mataram. Sempat singgat Lombok Exotic beli tshirt and souvenir. To be honest, beli tshirt kat Lombok Exotic nie memang puas hati. Kualiti nya terbaik. Pilihan pun banyak. Harga berpatutan seiring dengan kualiti baju. Tak cukup cash jangan risau. Bisa guna credit card untuk belian di Lombok Exotic. Over here Capt berbelanja sebanyak IDR 1,304,000 a.k.a RM 445.02. Beli tshirt tue bukan untuk kita seorang. Ramai yang mengirim.

Capt ingat Capt paling lama pusing sane sini dalam kedai tue. Rupe nyer Nani lagi lama. Haha....Jenuh Muiz jadi kaunselor and pak guard teman Nani dalam kedai tue. Capt yolo je cari apa yang nak. Sesudah berbelanja, perut terasa lapar balik. Asyik makan je masa kat Lombok tu. So, Mas Zaini bawa we all ke satu restaurant nie yang nama nya Lesehan Taliwang Irama 1 Lombok. Memang superb la. Pandai Mas Zaini bawa we all ke tempat-tempat makan yang sedap. We all order set that night. Comes with nasi, ikan 2 jenis, sayur and air minuman. Lagi murah dari order satu-satu. Trust me dengan harga yang berpatutan tue memang berbaloi la. Our dinner that night cost us IDR 338,250. Sedap wey so tak terasa bayar mahal. Gitu!

Restaurant nie memang prepare WIFI free untuk customer nya. Nak WIFI kene mintak dengan staf kat situ. Dapt je WIFI, masing-masing upload la mane yang patut. Dah puas upload, tengok berapa banyak like, then we all pun teruskan perjalanan ke hotel at Mataram. Hotel kat Mataram nie nama nyer Griya Asri Hotel. Nani and Shuk yang pilih. Sememangnya pilihan yang tepat because harga and bilik tue berbaloi. Siap ada swimming pool lagi ye. Sempat la we all rasmi swimming pool that night. Nazmi pun sempat belajar berenang dari Muiz. Khatam cara tahan nafas bagai. Bangga la tue dah pandai berenang. Hotel kat Mataram cost RM 67 per pax + breakfast. Totally worth it! See the pictures la why Capt says berbaloi.

We all sleep safe and sound that night. Letih la katekan. But Capt tidur lewat that night. Kemas bag bagai and upload gambar. Hihi =)  Pukul 2.00 pagi baru tidur. Sleep soundly zzzzz..
